Introducing my new Quick Portrait Commissions
Considering I'm supposed to be on maternity leave, introducing a new option to my commission services wasn't exactly high on my list of things I should be doing (oops), but after creating this little portrait of Jemma from Dorkface in a blink of an eye, I couldn't resist.
I just LOVED making these!!
These original illustrations will be done in a mix of graphite, ink and neon (or whatever you want from those) & I might chuck in some glitter and rhinestone embellishments too if I think that works. Everybody loves glitter right?
Embracing a loose, modern, fashion illustration vibe they would make perfect gifts for friends or maybe a new profile image for you? Just provide me the reference you want me to work from and I'll get stuck in. The result is a bold, personal, portrait which is yours to keep and do as you wish with. (Ts & Cs apply)
Artwork can come in a maximum A4 size (21cm x 30cm) or I can square that off to 21cm x 21cm if you think it looks pretty. Artwork will be unframed and ready to display as you wish because this ensures a) ultimate flexibility for you and b) free shipping WORLDWIDE woohoo meaning this artwork is available to EVERYONE.
I knew early on that I wanted these Quick Portrait commissions to be a super affordable alternative to my standard commissions (which start in the hundreds), so I've calculated I can offer them at £50 per portrait because, firstly, I enjoy making them (so I really want to do them), and secondly, I can do them fairly quickly, so it reduces my hourly rate somewhat and I can afford to sell them that low. Cool right?
However, I only have:
I'm not taking on any other work or commissions this year. Just these. And once December 1st comes along, I am CLOSED. That's it.
So book your slot now to avoid disappointment, because it will be a while until I re-open commissions again... let's be real... I'm having a baby and I doubt I'll have the sanity to reopen commissions for a good few months, maybe years, after he arrives!! So you've been warned!
Further info on my commission terms & conditions can be found there and don't forget to have a think about delivery and shipping times. If you want this for Christmas please make sure you book EARLY. I ship from the UK. It can take a month to travel internationally, and I don't want to let anyone down with a late delivery! All other details are included in the shop listing or can be discussed via email.
So now, simply head over to my shop and purchase your Quick Portrait Commission. From there I'll contact you and take further details on what you're looking to have made. Don't forget to have your reference image to hand!
Apart from that, thank you for continuing to support my artwork, pay my lipstick bill and generally give me very good reasons to be alive. I LOVE what I do and I am so excited by this new style of commission- I can't wait to see what work I'll be making for you all.
Don't forget to check out Jemma's blog too. She's an absolute star and well worth a visit!
